| The furniture and walls stayed the same, but you can see how lightening the color makes the room appear more spacious. |

| The family loves books and reading, so a book nook was added for an inviting space to curl up with a good read. The shelves and bench (made with a top to open for storage) were made out of pallets being discarded during a local construction project. The shelves also are made from bead board salvaged from a different project. |
